The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) has given Melbourne a glimpse of what to expect when the 2019 Australian International Airshow Aerospace and Defence Exposition at Avalon kicks off next week
On Friday, the RAAF flew a C-130J Hercules, C-17A Globemaster and two F/A-18A/B Hornets over the Melbourne city, Port Phillip Bay and Geelong.

The 2019 Avalon Airshow runs from Tuesday February 26 to Sunday March 3.

In addition to the flying display, there is trade and industry component, as well as a conference program that looks at topics such as drones, space, aviation safety and defence science and technology
