ACCC seeks comment on proposed Airservices charging increases

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has released an issues paper seeking public comment on Airservices Australia’s proposed new long term pricing arrangement.

Airservices, the monopoly, government owned provider of air traffic control and aviation rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF) services in Australia, is proposing a new long term, five year pricing arrangement, which would see an annual 0.6 per cent average increase in terminal navigation services, and a 6.1 per cent average annual increase for ARFF services. Charges for en route services would remain unchanged.
