Airservices Australia has announced that 14 new technical trainees have started their training course at Tafe NSW’s Riverina Institute, which will lead to careers with Airservices maintaining air traffic management infrastructure.
The trainees will undergo a two year Diploma of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Riverina Institute at its Wagga Wagga campus, joining 15 trainees who started the Airservices funded and trade specific program in 2009. Three other trainees have already commenced work as technical officers in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth after completing their diplomas early.
