Bankstown-based Skyforce (formerly Pionair) has taken delivery of the first of two BAE-146QCs. The first aircraft – VH-SIF – previously operated with Titan in the UK on contract and ad hoc passenger and freight charter services as G-ZAPN. The aircraft is no stranger to the Antipodes, having been in service with Ansett New Zealand as ZK-NZC.

-SIF is currently undergoing maintenance before entering operation on freight services.  Skyforce is understood to have applied to the International Air Services Commission for rights to operate freight services between Brisbane and Noumea and will soon be recruiting flight attendants and pilots for the 146 operation.

A second 146 – ex-G-ZAPK – is due for delivery to Skyforce in November. It will be registered VH-SJF.
