US based cargo operator Southern Air has taken delivery of its first two Boeing 777 Freighters, with the aircraft to be operated on behalf of Thai Airways.
The 777Fs will be based in Bangkok to operate dedicated freighter services throughout Southeast Asia , making them the first 777 Freighters in the region. The delivery is also the first of type to a wet lease operator.
