Jetstar Airbus A320 VH-VGF is pictured here flying into Melbourne on Friday evening wearing a special all-over orange colour scheme with the titles ‘Low Fares Forever’ along the right hand side of the fuselage and ‘#jetstargeneration’ on the left side. The A320 flew into Melbourne from Seletar, Singapore, where it was repainted ahead of Jetstar’s 10th anniversary celebrations on Sunday.

How time flying fast. Ten years ago I have privilege to be on first ever on JETSTAR Airbus A320-200, technical fly
with about 35 Qantas and CAA safety authority staff. We took off at 07.00 in early morning on beginning of June.
That was on front of 96 Hangar on Qantas Jet Base, and on route to Avalon, Coolangatta and back to Sydney . With all technical procedures on en routes we landed at approximate 020.00. at Kingsford Smith Airport. Inspiriance on that flight is unique. After take off on 17h. and 13 minute from Coolangatta airport, appear on r/h windows full disc Sun siting on red gold horizon toward Longreach. On the same time I see raising full disc Moon from surface of silver Pacific. With my so far over 500 take of and landing on over 150 airports across the globe newer been repited. Further more I witnessed one of first listed JETSTAR’s A320 landed on Belgrade International Airport in AIR SERBIA couloir’s. Life is amazing… HAPPY 10th. anniversary big JETSTAR from ours almighty QANTAS… Rodney Marinkovic, AME (ret.) Sydney /// Kralljevo, Serbia.

Rodney,,,,, can you please rewrite that, I have no idea what you said apart from you were on a route proving / CASA new type introduction flight 10 years ago. The rest totally lost me, but for some reason, I think you have an intersting story

Well done Jetstar in serving the Australian public for ten years. Airlines have a tough job now as many passengers show little loyalty as they want everything cheap and show little loyalty. You get what you pay for. Any business needs to make a profit to keep the doors open.
Over the years Jetstar have had many logo jets.
All the best for another ten years, Nigel Daw

Didn’t know we had an airline called “Low Fares Forever” – colour is sorta OK maybe – seen worse – but seen a lot better.

Low fares forever !! ????????, get real Qantas, are you forgetting the current situation you have gotten yourselves into, we EX- Qaint-ass long time frequent flyers are totally disgusted with your current performance, you have lost the plot completely
As a Frequent Flyer of over forty years, you have lost me, not that it will make any impact I guess.
But farewell Qantas, and Hello, and Welcome Emirates, you treated me well last year,(Economy Class) on an outward B-777 flight to England, thank you, this will be remembered.
As will the ABYSMAL return Qantas A-380 flight, back to Australia, never again the ‘Flying Kangaroo’ for me. The “Rot” set in when you removed the “Wing” from the Roo’ on the tail plane.
