Passengers on select Jetstar flights can now hire an iPad to pass the time.
The Apple tablet will be available on flights longer than two hours for a fee of between $10-$15, the airline said. The service launched on Tuesday and will be rolled out across the Australian domestic, trans Tasman and short haul international routes in the coming weeks.

The devices will come preloaded with a selection of new release movies, TV shows and music as well as a selection of games, e-magazines and e-books, Jetstar said.
The company said it plans to later expand the service into its Asia network.
