Jetstar has reached a new pricing agreement with Cairns International Airport which will see its delayed Cairns-Osaka services start.
Jetstar announced the new service in March this year after Qantas cut the route from its network, but a pricing dispute between the airport and the airline delayed the start of services, which was originally planned for December. However, it is understood that the two have now agreed to a new long-term pricing arrangement, with Jetstar now expected to launch the services in April 2010.

The new direct services, which will fly four times weekly with an A330, are expected to be a major boost for tourism in northern Queensland.
