Santa drops A321neos to Jetstar
Jetstar welcomed two new A321neo long-range aircraft to its fleet at Melbourne Airport on Christmas Day. VH-OFP and VH-OFQ were ferried from Airbus’s Hamburg factory on 23 December, making stops in Bengaluru and Perth before touching down at Jetstar HQ on 25 December. The budget carrier wasted no time getting its new jets into action, with both planes now on regular rotation to Sydney, the Gold Coast, and Bali. Of course, these long-range A321neos boast additional tanks that extend their range to 4000nm — or about 600nm further than its existing A320 fleet.
