Exercise Elang AUSINDO 23 will see 150 RAAF personnel training alongside 160 of their Indonesian counterparts, planning and undertaking offensive and defensive counter air missions, basic fighter and air combat manoeuvres, as well as air-to-air refuelling with a RAAF KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport.

The 21 RAAF members conducted the training with Indonesian Air Force F-16 pilots out of Denpasar Airport earlier in August, operating a KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport Aircraft.

The ASX-listed company announced that it has received a contract from a United States government agency for equipment and services. The contract payment is scheduled for receipt before the end of 2023.

On Friday, organisers released an updated itinerary that includes the RAAF Super Hornet, Hercules and Globemaster alongside a big presence from the US military.

January’s launch was the first outside the company’s home airport in the Mojave Desert, California, and significantly came before it plans a demonstrator launch at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport in 2024.

The contract with Marand is the latest purchase order between the two longstanding partners and will be delivered from the company’s Bankstown facility.
