Last year’s Taipan crash was one of a string of accidents involving the aircraft type, which was separately grounded in 2019, 2021, and earlier in 2023.
The initiative is supported by principal partner Atturra and will culminate in a black-tie/military mess dress gala ceremony on Wednesday, 12 June 2024, at the Four Seasons, Sydney.
The works will take place in both Amberley, Queensland and Delamere, Northern Territory; and are expected to deliver new and upgraded facilities for the operation of EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft.
