Jeff Boerboon, creator of the Pacific Airshow’s headline act, talks about his mind-boggling creation

The star attraction at the Gold Coast was the first Australian appearance of the Yak 110 – a bespoke aerobatic aircraft created by joining two Yak 55s together. At the show, it performed a routine that paid tribute to Bob Hoover, the daredevil American aviator who revolutionised aerobatics. Ahead of the performance, the aircraft’s pilot and creator, Jeff Boerboon, told Australian Aviation how his one-of-a-kind Yak was created.
